Discover the Peloponnese on a Yamaha SCR950
Departures every Monday from April to October. Full route: Kalamata – Gytheio – Monemvasia – Nafplion – Olympia – Kalamata. Guaranteed departure from 3 bikes, maximum 6 bikes.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Kalamata
Arrival in Kalamata and transfer to your hotel. In the evening we meet for the welcome dinner at a taverna by the sea. A chance to get to know the team and your fellow riders.
Day 2
Kalamata to Gytheio
We head south into the Mani, stopping at the fortress village of Aeropoli and the dramatic castle of Vathia. Dinner with a sea view at Porto Kagio before arriving in the picturesque port town of Gytheio.
Day 3
Gytheio to Monemvasia
A photo stop at the statue of Leonidas in Sparta, then on to the mountain village of Cosmas for a coffee. We visit the cliff-hanging monastery of Elonis before a swim stop at Poulithra. Night in the medieval fortress-city of Monemvasia.
Day 4
Monemvasia to Nafplion
One of the most spectacular legs of the tour: mountain roads hugging the Gulf of Laconia. Lunch and a swim at Fokianos, then on to Nafplion - the first capital of modern Greece.
Day 5
Nafplion and Epidauros
A free day to explore Nafplion at your own pace. Optional guided half-day ride to the ancient theatre of Epidauros. Stroll the old town, shop, visit monuments or simply relax by the sea.
Day 6
Nafplion to Olympia
We cross the Peloponnese westward, coffee in Partheni and lunch in the mountain village of Lagadia. Arrival in Ancient Olympia - birthplace of the Olympic Games.
Day 7
Olympia to Kalamata
Southward through the Arcadian mountains, stopping at Karytaina and Andritsena for a coffee. Back to Kalamata for the farewell dinner in the historic centre.
Day 8
Departure from Kalamata
After breakfast, our shuttle transfers you to Kalamata airport. The Greek Style Bikers team thanks you and hopes to see you again on the road!
